Getting Started
Beginning therapy is a thoughtful and collaborative process. We aim to make each step clear, supportive, and aligned with your needs. Throughout the process, sessions are paced intentionally — honoring your comfort, autonomy, and readiness.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Reach out through the contact form or by email to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is an opportunity to briefly connect, discuss your needs, and determine whether SEVA feels like the right fit.
Step 2: Intake & Preparation
If you choose to move forward, you’ll receive intake documents, informed consent forms, and practice policies to review before your first session. Insurance benefits will be verified in advance so you understand any out-of-pocket costs.
Step 3: Your First Session
Your initial session lasts approximately 60 minutes. Together, we’ll explore your goals, history, and areas of focus while beginning to establish a safe and collaborative therapeutic space.
